Marisa Turner

Marisa Turner was a senior Anthropology and Psychology double major with a Sports Studies and Exercise Science minor at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. As part of the Death in St. Lawrence County Project, she explored the demographic profile of the St. Lawrence County Poorhouse cemetery, also located in Canton, New York. Specifically, Marisa examined the relationship between age, sex, and cause of death over the span of the Poorhouse's existence. Furthermore, she archived original data from the Poorhouse inmate certificates into the project database.
