Ian Girdwood

Ian Girdwood '18 graduated from St. Lawrence University, Canton, New York with a combined major in Anthropology and African Studies. He has previously worked with Black Death plague victims and Middle Saxon deviant burials at two different archeological excavations in England, UK. As one of DSLCs archeological field assistants, Ian helped with the excavation, recording, analyzing, and preservation of skeletal remains from the St. Lawrence County Poorhouse cemetery. Ian received a St. Lawrence University Internship Fellowship to work with DSLC over the summer (2017).
