Hannah Calvelli was a senior at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY with a major in anthropology and minor in biology. As part of the Death in St. Lawrence County Project, Hannah studied the demographics of the St. Lawrence County Poorhouse and examined inmate certificates in order to gain perspective on who was using the poorhouse between 1900 and 1910. Additionally, she worked on data entry of inmate certificates for the Death in St. Lawrence County database.
